Towards an increasingly sustainable Meeting Industry.
Through the Green Meeting research project, Convention Bureau Roma e Lazio provides the Meeting Industry operators with guidelines for a smart event management model, placing the onus on environmental sustainability, energy saving, waste minimisation and greenhouse gases reduction. The research aims to identify the best sustainability practices within the main macro-areas of event management (production, delivery, post-event management), also in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility. In ethical and economic terms, these goals are key drivers to succeed in business.
